Composition.
Extracts: licorice naked (Glycyrrhizaglabra L.); the yellow mache (Glaucium flávum); althaea medicinal (Althaéa officinális); elecampane high (Inulahelenium L.); anise of common (Pimpinéllaanísum); mother-and-stepmother (Tussilágo); black currant (Ríbes nígrum).
Chemical composition:
glycyrrhizin, liquidoritin, saponins, inulin, tarry and tannins, amino acids, essential oil anethole, anisic aldehyde, anisic acid, ascorbic acid, bitterness, mucus, glaucine, phytosterol, mineral salts, tussilagine.
Effects:
- improves the functional state of the upper respiratory tract;
- exerts a stimulating effect on the respiratory center;
- stimulates the activity of ciliated epithelium in the trachea and bronchi;
- strengthens the secretory function of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract;
- has anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and expectorant properties;
- has a bactericidal effect on the microflora of the respiratory tract;
- improves expectoration of sputum, its dilution and accelerates the evacuation of products of mucosal inflammation from the respiratory tract.
Indications for use:
- acute bronchitis, tracheitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis;
- bronchial asthma;
- bronchopneumonia;
- sinusitis, rhinitis;
- cough cough with ARD.
Application.
Children from 2 to 6 years: 2.5 ml 2 times a day before meals.
Children from 6 to 12 years: 5 ml 2 times a day before meals.
Older than 12 years: 5 to 10 ml 2 times a day before meals.
The average duration of treatment is 7-10 days. The course can be repeated after 1 to 2 weeks. If necessary, dissolve the balsam in 50-100 ml of tea, juice or in warm boiled water.
